Lodging
The venue is in Redmond, which has plenty of hotels a short distance away. If you’re planning on staying in town just for the wedding, Redmond is probably where you’ll want to be!
The greater Seattle area isn’t far from Redmond, if you’d like to make a longer stay and explore the area! October is a great time to see the larches or walk Pike Place Market.
Transportation
Whether you’re staying in Redmond or Seattle, we recommend taking the train from the airport to beat traffic and feel like a local exploring the city!
The Link light rail accepts tap-to-pay and makes getting to and from the airport a breeze! The 1-Line (green) provides service to the airport and Seattle. Those in Redmond (or Bellevue) can transfer at Chinatown/International District to a 2-Line (blue) for service East.
The Outdoors
Some of our favorite hikes (or nature walks) in the area:
- Wallace Falls: Our favorite hike to show visitors. It always hits, rain or shine.
- Cherry Creek Falls: Beautiful waterfalls not too far from the city!
- Poo Poo Point: Paraglider training spot with a funny name. This one is steep!
- Sammamish River Trail: Great walking option around one of Redmond’s favorite lakes.
